Family of E.coli sufferer start action against farm

THE family of a girl who was infected with E.coli during a farm trip is taking legal action against the site’s owners, a solicitor said last night.

Jill Greenfield was instructed by relatives of the “seriously ill” youngster to pursue a negligence claim against Godstone Farm in Surrey, she revealed.

But she would not give their names or the age of the child involved.

The personal injury lawyer said: “We need to establish what went wrong and who if anyone is at fault. I would hope personal injury solicitor that the farm representatives and the Health Protection Agency (HPA) will agree to meet with me as soon as possible in order that I can establish the facts as quickly as possible
